Series: Radical Kingdom: Power and Purpose Preached at Growing Faith Church, Liberty, NC August 30, 2026 1. The Mission is Critical Because the Need is Urgent (vv. 35-36) 2. The Mission Begins with Prayer for Multiplication (vv. 37-38) 3. We are Called and Given Authority for the Mission (vv. 1-4) 4. God Provides the Strategy for the Mission (vv. 5-11) 5. The Results of the Mission Belong to God (vv. 12-15) Most of us spend our lives chasing goals that feel meaningful but are ultimately temporary. Jesus calls every believer to something far greater: a mission that echoes into eternity. In Matthew 9, Jesus sees the crowds around Him and responds not with frustration or judgment, but with deep, gut-level compassion. That same compassion is meant to shape how we see the people in our daily lives. God does not call the qualified; He qualifies the called, sending ordinary people with His authority and His power. The harvest is plentiful, the need is urgent, and God has called you by name to be part of it.
