Episode 25 - The Womb of Modern Feminism with Brooke Ulrich - Founder & Executive Director of the Yoga Womb
The Womb of Modern Feminism with Brooke Ulrich - Founder & Executive Director of the Yoga Womb Our guest, Brooke Ulrich and Nurse Jesse dip our toes into the waters of religion, patriarchy, emotions and the face of modern feminism (psst...you probably are a feminist and don't even realize it!) quite a timely conversation for the environment in which we are living today! www.theyogawomb.org and www.brilliantmarketingcommunication.com Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/theyogawomb Here's more about Brooke! https://uwm.edu/advance/class-note-updates/brooke-adelle-ulrich/ BOOKS: The Chalice & The Blade The Will To Change Notes - *Trigger warning - brief mention of suicidal ideation/violence "I'm a lot of things!" (I love this Brooke!) Everyone was appreciated for their unique strengths not just brute strength/violence. Most people are feminists but don't realize it! That there is equality between men & women. Matriarchy - doesn't mean women over men, it's taking care of everyone, especially the most vulnerable populations. Community is only as strong as our most vulnerable person. The yoga womb is safe & nurturing space to come to new truths in a community with curiosity. World change starts with personal transformation. All anger is sadness! The womb is a void where the seed is planted for a new possibility. People with privilege need to stand up for those who don't have that same privilege. Get curious! It's going to get messy, and that's ok! Learn more & support the Oneida Nation - https://exploreoneida.com/
