Life in quiet neighborhoods changed the day that our legislators estableshed Home Owners Associations and most builders started setting up their neighborhoods in HOA's and they have become the governing body in most neighborhoods. We can thank these groups for oue consistent property values and in most cases the increased value it brings. We can also thank this change for the so much more well maintained properties that are within the control of the association. BUT, with anything in our lifes, there is always the bad that comes with the good and we are here to share all the aspects to living in an HOA. We want to help make your experiences as enjoyable as possible and we are going to share as much of the good, bad, & the ugly. We will have guests that are experts in the HOA business and we want to help you and your HOA make good decisions that will keep things calm on your neighborhood and not chaotic in a court room. Our hosts have worked in, lived in, and enjoyed all types of HOA's and we promise to bring you honest and proven answers to all of your questions. Technology is a great thing and because of it, we even get the opportunity to entertain, inform, and educate about everything HOA's. But, as good as technology is....it is still only as good as the person operating it. I(Capt. E) have had so much fun educating myself on all the work and details that go into each episode and it has been fun at times and very challenging at others. We apologize for our long delay between episodes and as long as it is in our control, this will not happen again. As a token of our genuine apology we have lined up a great panel for todays show and will continue to do so for many years of new episodes to come. Several weeks ago we had our friend from Hotwire Communications, Alex Stefanescu on to talk about one of the global leaders in fiber communication foundations for neighborhoods and it was an eye opneing conversation to learn just how bog a role Hotwire Communications plays across the globe as well as right here in most of our neighborhoods. We also are honored to welcome in to the studio this week, Brian Arnold of Arnold Roofing and Restoration. Brian is the partner that you and your HOA want when you go up against the insurance companies over the repairs that you may need after the next storm decides to pay our coastal region a visit. As most of us know, it is not a matter of if one will hit. It is in fact the question of when will this happen. Be sure to pay good attention to Brian and also make sure to save his contact info when you want soneone to go to battle for your's and your HOA's interests. Brian has plenty of experience and just like we prinised from day one. We only bring the biggest and most qualified players to our studio to help out our loyal audoinece of subscribers.
