What Nobody Tells You About Life After Your Child's Autism Diagnosis | Dalia Sadiq
Dalia Sadiq is a neurodiversity advocate and founder of Parent Pathways, a peer-to-peer support community for parents of neurodivergent children. Built from her own experience navigating her son's autism diagnosis at nine, Parent Pathways exists to break the stigma surrounding neurodiversity and create a safe space where parents can sit down, talk, share and learn from one another. In this episode we talk about the early signs and why getting answers took so long, what the diagnosis felt like when it finally came, how to help a child own their identity with pride and why the most important thing any of us can do is approach with curiosity rather than judgment.
