Mark Sanchez is looking to plead guilty, Tony Romo loses his driving privileges, and Tiger Woods gets a five-year driving suspension. Safe to say, nobody is driving this episode forward. The NBA finally wraps up its Clippers investigation, handing out a $30 million fine, lost draft picks, a Steve Ballmer suspension, and a $700K Kawhi fine. Talk about getting clipped. Polish your bets with our new betting segment: The Milkman delivery News: Tytus Howard gets fined $12,537 for tripping someone—which is a lot of money for a guy who apparently couldn't find his footing. Meanwhile, Emmitt Smith is being sued over an allegedly misused $2.5 million loan. Looks like somebody ran the wrong financial route. Biggest Pickle: Raekwon Davis. It started with a missing Ford F-150 key and somehow ended with an alleged choking, a gun, a terrified locksmith, and a felony aggravated-assault charge. All over car keys. We revisit Jonathan Cooper, who has pleaded not guilty to charges stemming from his domestic violence arrests and has now been placed on the Commissioner’s Exempt List. With a jury trial scheduled for November, his season remains in limbo. Then in the News, Packers running back Josh Jacobs lands on the Commissioner’s Exempt List following his May arrest and subsequent misdemeanor charges. Then, a stunning development in the Jerry Sandusky case: “Victim 10,” who testified for the prosecution in 2012, now says in a sworn affidavit that Sandusky did not abuse him and alleges his original testimony was influenced by prosecutors. This Week’s Biggest Pickle: Daejon Love Who is Daejon Love? Apparently, not an NFL wide receiver. Love allegedly posed as a San Francisco 49ers player while he and an accomplice ran an investment scheme that prosecutors say defrauded 26 women out of roughly $1.3 million. Luxury cars, dating apps, a fake financial adviser, and an entire bogus NFL career—this one has everything.
