Perfectionism, Self-Betrayal & The MESsy Middle w/ Amanda Baker
Aug 19, 202646 min
What if your perfectionism isn't a personality trait, it's a survival strategy that's quietly burning you out? Therapist, yoga psychology teacher, and poet Amanda Baker joins Jojo to unravel why we strive to be "amazing," what's actually underneath the fear of being average, and how burnout is really self-betrayal in disguise. The Episode I Almost Deleted: A Case Against Perfectionism
Aug 12, 202616 min
This week Jojo does something a little different. No studio, no polish, no edits. Just a mic, a patio overlooking the water, wind in the background, and yes, even a bee. Because this episode is about the very thing that would normally make her scrap it: perfectionism. Who told you everything has to be buttoned up before you're allowed to show up? Why does the pressure to be the perfect parent, partner, professional or version of yourself always land on the one person who never makes the list: you? And what actually happens to connection, creativity and flow when we finally stop performing and get honest about the messy middle? Jojo gets into it mentally, emotionally and spiritually, and leaves you with one small, slightly uncomfortable challenge you can try today. Consider this the prologue. A deeper conversation on the psychology of perfectionism, burnout and self-betrayal is coming soon with a therapist, so make sure you're following the show. Take your shoes off, step outside, and press play. Thank you for listening! Don't forget to follow along on social media @_insideout.podcast , rate and review. Why Are We Always Late? The Psychology of Not Showing Up
Aug 5, 202615 min
We have all been on both sides of it. Waiting on someone who never showed. Or being the one who was late... again. This week Jojo scraps her original fired up take and asks a much more interesting question: why do we actually do this? In this solo think piece, Jojo unpacks the surprising research on chronic lateness, from the planning fallacy to time blindness, and the deeper emotional roots most of us never look at: anxiety, self worth, control, perfectionism, self sabotage, old childhood wiring and people pleasing. She also shares a recent personal story about being completely no showed, and how she chose to respond with warmth and a very clear boundary. This one is not a lecture. It is a mirror. Because the question is not just why is lateness rude. It is what is really going on underneath when we cannot seem to show up on time, or at all. No tidy answers this week. Just a question worth sitting with: is your lateness about time, or about what you feel when you try to be on time? Share this one with the friend who is always late. Lovingly, of course. Stop Splitting Your Relationship 50/50: Two Rules From a 47 Year Marriage
Jul 29, 20266 min
What does it take to stay in love for 47 years? In this short and sweet episode, Jojo shares the relationship advice a store owner gave her, the two simple rules he swears by after nearly five decades of marriage, and why he says he falls more in love with his wife every single day. Everyone talks about relationships, dating culture, and communication, but somewhere along the way we lost the plot on how to actually build a strong one. This conversation brought it all back to basics. In this episode: The one number most couples get wrong about relationships A tiny mindset shift that stops fights before they start The popular relationship saying Jojo thinks we need to retire for good How to hear feedback from your partner without your ego taking the hit Whether you're married, dating, or working on any relationship in your life, this under 10 minute episode gives you a mindset shift you can use today. Doing Well but Not Feeling Well: Why Success Still Feels Empty with Pratiqk Jaani
Jul 22, 202637 min
You can do everything "right": hit the goal, get the title, build the life that's supposed to feel good, and still feel empty. In this episode of Inside OUT, Jojo sits down with Pratiqk Jaani, an accountant turned transformation teacher and author of Dhrasti, to unpack why doing well doesn't always mean feeling well. After 20+ years advising entrepreneurs, Pratik discovered the real problem was never the money. It was the perception people were unconsciously living through. They explore how childhood conditioning creates a default state of "lack," why every new goal (or new relationship) only feeds it, and how shifting into "wholeness" changes your entire experience of life. Pratik also shares two exercises you can do at home tonight to glimpse your true self beneath the conditioning. Then we close by getting MESy: mental, emotional, and spiritual questions to sit with this week. Every question we get asked before someone starts their trial.
If you have a concern about deliverability, AI quality, data privacy, or whether this will actually work for your specific situation, it's probably answered below.
What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
What if I have more than 50 profiles or 20 clients?
That is our Enterprise tier. Contact our sales team and we will build a custom plan with volume pricing, a dedicated account manager, and SLA guarantees.
