MST: Organising for land reform and agroecology in Brazil
<p>Get an insight into the Brazilian peasants’ movement’s impressive work. The MST (Movimento dos Trabalhadores Rurais Sem Terra - The Landless Rural Workers Movement) has found a loophole in the Brazilian legislation which states that land must serve a social function. </p><p>First, they occupy large areas of land that would otherwise have remained uncultivated.
