40. Reconciling the practice and promise of global health
Our guest on the podcast this month is Dr. Madhukar Pai, a public health physician by training and current professor and Canada Research Chair in Epidemiology and Global Health at McGill University. As Dr. Pai explains, global health isn’t about “tropical medicine” or installing toilets in faraway places. It’s something that we all participate in every day – a shared reality, as well as a shared responsibility.
