The same relates to documents under seal from Jan., Feb. and March 2025 including evidence. In doing so, the Court has reversed a decision to unseal specific documents contained in a December 18, 2025 order.   Here, we provide pure opinions, commentary and speculating following defense expert Sy Ray's recent statements to the effect Mr. Kohberger may be seeking to appeal his conviction based on a "miscarriage of justice" the legal standard announced by SCOTUS recently in Hunter v. US, the case decided 8-1 on June 18, 2026 which gave birth to the "miscarriage of justice" standard when defendants sign away appellate rights as Mr. Kohberger did.
