Meet Mason & Gavin Mennucci: The Brothers Rocking the Foothills and Beyond Ages: Mason (13) & Gavin (10) Location: Sacramento, CA (Foothills) Passions: Music, Visual Arts, and Outdoor Adventure Growing up on a sprawling property in the foothills outside of Sacramento, California, brothers Mason (13) and Gavin (10) Mennucci have built a lifestyle defined by high energy, deep creativity, and a whole lot of volume. Best friends who share a tight-knit bond and a wide range of interests, Mason and Gavin are quickly making a name for themselves as a powerhouse creative duo—both on the stage and in the art studio. The Music: From the Living Room to the Big Stage Music is in the Mennucci DNA. Both boys picked up the guitar at just five years old, heavily supported and inspired by their dad, a lifelong musician who has been singing and playing guitar, piano, and drums since he was their age. Today, the brothers are a dynamic musical force. Gavin holds down the groove on rhythm guitar and drives the tracks as the lead vocalist, while Mason shreds on lead guitar and provides backing vocals (though he’s known to step up to the mic for lead vocals, too). Their musical palate is incredibly diverse, spanning country rock, classic and southern rock, hard rock, and nu-metal. Whether they are practicing or performing, you’ll hear them covering heavy hitters and legends like Pink Floyd, Black Label Society, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Avenged Sevenfold, Morgan Wallen, Johnny Cash, and Three Days Grace. Their dedication in the practice room is paying o in a big way. Recently, the boys hit a massive milestone, sharing the stage at a large venue with a group of incredible Nashville singer-songwriters. The chemistry was so good that they now have future shows lined up with some of these artists. Between these high profile gigs, rocking out at school events, and playing private parties, their live performance resume is growing fast. The Art: GM3 Designs & Beyond When they aren’t melting faces with guitar solos, Mason and Gavin are deeply involved in the visual arts. Both boys share a love for creating intricate ink renderings of nature. Mason’s talent for ink art has even turned into a growing business. Supported by his family, he launched GM3 Designs, a brand that sells his artwork online and in several local stores in their community. Gavin, meanwhile, brings his own unique flavor to the art world, inspired by cool, alternative mediums like epoxy art and intricate clay sculpting. The Lifestyle: Dirt Bikes, RC Crawlers, and Italian The boys’ lifestyle is the perfect blend of country living and modern creativity. When they unplug their amps, you can usually find them tearing up the foothills on their dirt bikes, playing baseball, fishing, traveling, or hunting down great food. They also have their own unique individual hobbies. Mason is an avid RC rock crawling enthusiast, navigating complex terrains with his rigs. Gavin, always looking to expand his horizons, is currently teaching himself to speak Italian. What’s Next?
