Yes & Amen: Generation to Generation
Think about the people who helped shape your faith. Maybe it was a parent or grandparent. A Sunday school teacher. A pastor. A friend who sat beside you during a difficult season. Or maybe it was someone whose name you've nearly forgotten, but whose kindness showed you something about the character of God. Faith was never meant to be something we figure out entirely on our own. Psalm 145 describes one generation telling another about who God is and what God has done. Stories are shared. Wisdom is passed down. Burdens are carried together. And somewhere along the way, the people teaching us about faith discover that they're still learning too. Today, as we continue our Yes & Amen series, we'll explore God's promise to form us through a community where young and old belong to one another—and where every generation has something to give and something to receive. Because sometimes the most important story of faith you share may become part of someone else's story too. Scripture: Psalm 145:1-7 Guest Preacher: Leslie Hanscom
