What Kind of People Does God Use? (Part 3)
What kind of people does God delight to use for His kingdom? In Part 3 of this series, we discover that God uses believers whose lives are centered on Jesus Christ. As the early church devoted themselves to God's Word, genuine fellowship, prayer, and worship, their love for Christ overflowed into bold and effective witness. Their testimony was not driven by methods or programs but by hearts transformed through an ever-deepening relationship with their Savior. This timeless message challenges us to examine whether Christ truly is our first love. When He becomes our greatest treasure, our love for others grows, our fellowship becomes authentic, and our witness becomes powerful. Join us as we continue exploring what kind of people God uses to impact the world for His glory. Full Show Notes Episode Summary In this message, we continue examining the characteristics of the believers in Acts 2 and discover why God used them so powerfully. Their strength did not come from personalities or techniques but from lives wholly devoted to Jesus Christ. The early church was built upon four essential foundations: The teaching of God's Word Genuine fellowship among believers Remembering Christ through the breaking of bread A vibrant life of prayer As these priorities shaped their lives, they developed sacrificial love for one another, cared for each other's needs, and boldly proclaimed the gospel. Their witness was simply the overflow of hearts captivated by Christ. The message reminds us that every healthy relationship finds its true foundation in Jesus. Whether marriage, friendship, family, or church life, Christ is the One who gives lasting meaning and unity. Perhaps the greatest encouragement comes in recognizing that although people may disappoint us—even those closest to us—Jesus Christ never will. His love is faithful, His promises are sure, and He will never forsake those who trust Him. The greatest preparation for witnessing is not merely learning methods of evangelism but cultivating a growing, daily love relationship with the Lord. As we walk closely with Christ, the Holy Spirit produces His fruit in our lives, giving us both compassion and boldness to share the gospel.
