He holds a J.D. from Cornell Law focusing on intellectual property, an MBA from Temple University, a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University, and is currently finishing a Master of Engineering in Computer Engineering at Dartmouth College with a focus on artificial intelligence and machine learning. The man literally went back to school to master the technology that's reshaping his field. That tells you Kirk has published academic work on patent protection for artificial intelligence and copyright registration of AI-generated works, and he's brought those ideas to stages across the globe presenting on AI and IP at conferences in London, Bangkok, Palo Alto, and China, and at universities including Purdue.
