Episode 27: The Power of Prayer When You're Overwhelmed
When trials pile up and life feels overwhelming, do you try to fix it on your own, or do you take it to the Lord in prayer? In Episode 27 of the Live It Out podcast, Adam Green and Pastor Jason Lancaster open Isaiah 37:17–24, where King Hezekiah takes Assyria's threatening letter straight to God in prayer. We talk about the power of prayer in your hardest situations: bringing them to the Lord first, acknowledging His authority and power over what we can't handle, and resting in the victory we already have in Christ, who paid the debt we owed on the cross. God invites us to hold nothing back from Him and to rely on His good and perfect will, for His glory and for our good. "So now, O Lord our God, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you alone are the Lord."
