Episode #196
What Daily Posting Has Taught Me About Visibility
I'm talking about what four days of posting daily has already taught me - and why visibility was never actually the goal. This episode picks up where last week left off. I'm a few days into a daily posting challenge, and the learnings — including some pushback — are already coming in fast. I talk about why my strategy for this isn't necessarily yours, what fear of visibility has actually been costing me, and why getting comfortable being seen imperfectly is doing more for my communication than any amount of planning ever did. The bigger realisation, though, is about what happens after someone finds you. I use the analogy of a front door and a house to explain why so many practitioners are pouring all their energy into visibility while what happens next - positioning, offer clarity, a clear path to buying - is still undecided. Visibility gets someone to the door. It's not the same as having a house that's ready for them. Visibility is not the destination. It's an accelerant — and an accelerant is only useful if there's already a healthy fire behind it.
