Donna’s Bio- Donna Parkhurst is the creator of Moved by Parkinson's , where she shares honest, hope-filled, evidence-based content to help people navigate life with Parkinson's disease. Diagnosed with young-onset Parkinson's at age 51, Donna has become a trusted voice in the Parkinson's community by combining her personal experience with a passion for educating and encouraging others to live well despite life's unexpected challenges. She serves as a Parkinson's Foundation Ambassador, PMD Alliance Ambassador, and member of the Young Onset Parkinson's Network Advisory Council. Donna is also a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and menopause specialist with a heart for helping people thrive in midlife and beyond. Through social media, speaking, and advocacy, Donna is committed to raising awareness, combating misinformation, and reminding others that while Parkinson's changes life, it doesn't have to define it. She lives in Washington State with her husband, David, and believes that hope, purpose, and joy can coexist with even the most difficult diagnoses.
