Lucas and Luna turn the noisy world of startup marketing into a clear, numbers-driven conversation. Each episode examines one early-stage growth challenge — from zero-budget content strategies to founder-led LinkedIn plays — and dissects what actually moved the needle for companies like Superhuman, Webflow, and Morning Brew. Lucas brings the journalist’s instinct for what’s measurable (CAC, LTV, channel payback periods); Luna pushes for the scrappy tactics that work when your runway is short and your team is small. Together, they avoid hype and focus on repeatable frameworks: how to run a $500 Google Ads test, why a cold email sequence sometimes outperforms a million-dollar launch, or when to kill a channel that isn’t converting. This is for founders, first marketing hires, and anyone who believes good marketing is built on data, not billboards. The show doesn’t pretend there’s one magic playbook — it asks: given your stage and constraints, what’s the next right move?#StartupMarketing

The Zero-Ad Playbook For Bootstrapped Startups
Sep 29, 202616 minS5
In this episode of Marketing for Startups with Fexingo, we examine how early-stage companies can achieve product-market fit without spending a dollar on paid acquisition. We look at the specific case of Notion, which grew from zero to millions of users by leveraging network effects and community-driven growth rather than traditional advertising. Lucas and Luna break down the mechanics of founder-led sales, the importance of manual concierge onboarding, and why most startups fail when they try to scale before they have a repeatable organic loop. We also discuss the concept of 'growth loops' versus linear funnels, using concrete examples from SaaS and marketplace businesses that prioritized product-led growth over customer acquisition costs. If you are building a company in September twenty twenty-six with limited runway, understanding these scrappy tactics is essential for survival. #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #StartupMarketing #GrowthHacking #Bootstrapping #ProductLedGrowth #OrganicGrowth #NoAds #FounderLedSales #NotionCaseStudy #NetworkEffects #CommunityBuilding #SaaSGrowth #ZeroBudget #CustomerAcquisition #ViralLoops #ManualConcierge #LeanStartup Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
How Founders Build Marketing Engines Without Budgets
Sep 28, 20269 minS4
Most early-stage founders treat marketing as a cost center they can delay until product-market fit arrives. But the data from late 2025 and early 2026 suggests the opposite: the most durable startups build their growth loops before they scale their sales teams. In this episode, we look at how specific founders used 'founder-led marketing' to acquire their first ten thousand users with near-zero ad spend. We break down the mechanics of turning personal expertise into audience trust, why building in public often beats polished campaigns, and the one metric that actually matters when you have no budget. This is not about buying visibility; it is about earning attention through relentless utility. #StartupMarketing #FounderLedGrowth #ZeroBudgetGrowth #ContentStrategy #EarlyStageStartups #DigitalMarketingTips #SaaSGrowth #OrganicTraffic #BrandBuilding #Entrepreneurship #BusinessStrategy #MarketingForStartups #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #GrowthHacking #AudienceBuilding #LeanStartup #MarketingAnalytics Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
Most early-stage founders treat marketing as a cost center until they hit product-market fit, but that mindset creates a structural deficit in growth. In this episode, Lucas and Luna explore the 'First Dollar' rule: the discipline of requiring every dollar spent on customer acquisition to generate immediate, measurable revenue or qualified lead data within thirty days. We look at why scrappy, founder-led direct outreach often outperforms broad brand campaigns in the pre-seed phase, using specific examples from two B2B SaaS startups that prioritized unit economics over vanity metrics. The discussion covers how to calculate your true customer acquisition cost without relying on inflated agency reports, and why listening tours should be treated as high-yield marketing channels rather than just product research. If you are building a company today, September twenty-seventh two thousand twenty-six, you cannot afford to burn runway on awareness alone. #StartupMarketing #FounderLedGrowth #CustomerAcquisitionCost #UnitEconomics #B2BSaaS #DirectOutreach #PreSeedStrategy #MarketingROI #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #GrowthHacking #StartupPivot #SalesFunnel #EarlyStage #RevenueFirst #MarketValidation #LucasAndLuna #Entrepreneurship Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
How Startups Build Trust Through Radical Transparency
Sep 26, 202612 minS4
Most startups hide their struggles until they hit a wall. In this episode, we examine the counter-intuitive strategy of radical transparency—sharing your metrics, failures, and roadmap openly with early users. We look at how companies like Buffer and Superhuman used open dashboards to turn skepticism into loyalty, and why hiding bad news is the fastest way to lose your first ten customers. Lucas and Luna break down the operational cost of honesty and when it actually drives growth versus when it just creates noise. #StartupMarketing #RadicalTransparency #FounderLedGrowth #BusinessStrategy #CustomerTrust #SaaSGrowth #MarketingTactics #EarlyStageStartups #BrandBuilding #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #Entrepreneurship #DigitalMarketing #ConsumerBehavior #StartupCulture #GrowthHacking #ProductMarketFit #MarketingInsights Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
How Startups Use Customer Interviews for Product Marketing
Sep 25, 20268 minS4
Most startups treat customer interviews as a product-building exercise, but the real leverage lies in how those conversations fuel marketing. In this episode, we examine why founder-led storytelling from raw user interviews outperforms polished ad copy. We look at specific transcript excerpts and the psychological shift that happens when you stop selling features and start sharing problems. This is about turning empathy into a distribution channel without spending a dollar on media. #StartupMarketing #CustomerInterviews #FounderLedGrowth #ProductMarketing #UserResearch #StorytellingStrategy #B2BGrowth #SaaSMetrics #ContentMarketing #ConversionOptimization #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #EarlyStageStartups #MarketValidation #NarrativeDesign #DirectResponse #BrandBuilding #MarketingTactics Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo

What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.

Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
