Lucas and Luna explore the craft of building mobile apps, from iOS and Android fundamentals to architecture decisions and deployment workflows. Each episode digs into a single practical question: how to structure a feature, manage state across platforms, or optimize for performance without sacrificing readability. The hosts debate real-world trade-offs using concrete examples—a navigation pattern in SwiftUI versus Jetpack Compose, the role of dependency injection in testable code, or when to reach for a cross-platform framework. They avoid hype and focus on what works in production, citing open-source libraries and documented case studies from companies like Airbnb, Spotify, and Basecamp. Lucas brings a journalist's rigor, asking why a team chose one approach over another; Luna pushes back with hands-on nuance, drawing from her own experience shipping apps. Together, they serve engineers, technical leads, and product managers who want to stay sharp without chasing every new tool. The c

How On-Device AI Tames Your Notifications
Aug 19, 20268 minS4
Episode 160 of Mobile Development with Fexingo digs into the quiet revolution in notification management. Lucas and Luna explore how modern smartphones use on-device AI to sort, prioritize, and even rewrite your alerts—no cloud required. They break down the mechanics of on-device natural language processing, how your phone learns your habits without sending data to servers, and the privacy payoff that comes with keeping everything local. From smart replies that sound like you to notification bundling that actually respects your time, this episode shows why the future of notifications is personal and private. Expect concrete examples, a look at the trade-offs between on-device and cloud-based models, and a glimpse of what's next for the humble notification shade. If you've ever felt buried by app alerts, this one's for you. #OnDeviceAI #NotificationManagement #MobileAI #Privacy #SmartNotifications #MachineLearning #NaturalLanguageProcessing #AppDevelopment #iOS #Android #TechPodcast #DigitalWellbeing #NotificationFatigue #LocalAI #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #Technology #MobileTech Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
In this episode, Lucas and Luna explore how mobile apps use on-device AI for real-time home security and intrusion detection. They break down the technical magic: on-device person detection, motion classification, and why keeping video analysis local matters for privacy and latency. They also discuss the trade-offs, like the challenge of distinguishing a burglar from a family pet, and how modern chips make it possible. If you've ever wondered how your phone or smart camera knows when to alert you, this episode gives you the inside story. #OnDeviceAI #HomeSecurity #MobileApps #IntrusionDetection #Privacy #EdgeAI #ComputerVision #SmartHome #VideoAnalysis #PersonDetection #MotionDetection #TechExplained #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #Technology #MobileDevelopment #iOS #Android Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
In this episode, Lucas and Luna dive into the world of on-device AI for battery health prediction, a feature that's quietly transforming how we use our phones. They explore why accurate battery health estimation is so hard, from chemical degradation to temperature swings, and how on-device models, like those found in the iPhone's Battery Health feature, use a few key metrics to predict a battery's remaining life. Lucas breaks down the three main signals—charge cycles, temperature exposure, and voltage stress—and explains how a lightweight model can run locally without sending your data to the cloud. The conversation touches on Apple's approach with its Battery Health menu, the limitations of a simple percentage, and the potential for future apps to help users decide when to replace a battery. With a focus on privacy and efficiency, this episode offers a clear look at a technology that's both practical and surprisingly complex. #OnDeviceAI #BatteryHealth #MobileTech #AIInnovation #Apple #iPhone #Privacy #MachineLearning #TechPodcast #BusinessInnovation #SustainableTech #AppDevelopment #ConsumerElectronics #DataPrivacy #AIInMobile #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #Technology Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
On-Device AI Detects Structural Damage After Earthquakes
Aug 16, 20269 minS4
After the earthquake in Turkey and Syria in 2023, engineers realized that visual inspection of buildings could take weeks. In this episode, Lucas and Luna explore how on-device AI is changing that. They focus on a specific technique: using a phone's accelerometer and microphone to detect structural damage through vibration analysis and acoustic sensing. Lucas explains how a team at a research institute trained a neural network on data from shake tables and real damaged buildings, achieving 90 percent accuracy in classifying damage severity. Luna brings up the challenge of false positives and how the app requires a baseline scan before any quake. They also discuss the ethical tightrope: this tool is a triage aid, not a substitute for a licensed engineer. The conversation touches on the practical constraints, like battery life and the need for diverse training data, and ends with a forward-looking question about whether phones could one day be part of official building safety protocols. #OnDeviceAI #EarthquakeDetection #StructuralDamage #MobileApps #Accelerometer #AcousticSensing #TriageTool #BuildingSafety #NeuralNetwork #ShakeTable #VibrationAnalysis #DisasterTech #Tech #MobileDev #Business #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #Fexingo Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
In this episode of Mobile Development with Fexingo, Lucas and Luna explore the surprisingly complex world of on-device background removal in mobile photography. They dive into the technical breakthroughs—from traditional chroma keying to modern semantic segmentation models—that let your phone carve out a subject from its background in real time, all without sending a single pixel to the cloud. With concrete examples like Apple's Visual Look Up and Google's Magic Eraser, they explain how these features work under the hood, the privacy benefits of on-device processing, and the trade-offs developers face when optimizing for battery life and speed. If you've ever wondered how your phone knows where the person ends and the background begins, this episode gives you a peek behind the screen. Lucas and Luna also share practical tips for developers looking to integrate similar features into their own apps, from choosing the right model architecture to handling edge cases like hair and transparent objects. Tune in for a clear, jargon-free breakdown of a feature you use every day without thinking about. #OnDeviceAI #BackgroundRemoval #MobilePhotography #SemanticSegmentation #ComputerVision #AppleVisualLookUp #GoogleMagicEraser #PrivacyFirst #MachineLearning #DeveloperTips #iOSDevelopment #AndroidDevelopment #MobileApps #Technology #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #TechPodcast #AI Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo

Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
