This Means War | Ephesians 6:10-17 | Pastor Trent Griffith
Spiritual conflict is real, but so is the provision God has made for every believer. Ephesians 6:10-17 reveals that our true enemy is not other people but the devil and his fallen angels, who actively work to mar the image of God in our lives. God has equipped us with everything we need to stand firm, and that equipment is not a collection of separate tools but a full covering found in Jesus Christ Himself. The belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit all point to one reality: Christ is our armor. Putting on the armor is a daily, intentional act of dependence on Him. The battle is real, but because of what Jesus accomplished on the cross, it is already won.
