Two Months Late and Still Right: We Review The Mandalorian and Grogu
Two Months Late and Still Right: We Review The Mandalorian and Grogu Nobody Cares What You Think arrives fashionably late to the cultural zeitgeist this week as Jamie and Richard finally review The Mandalorian and Grogu — two months after release, completely unashamed, and with plenty to say. They loved it. They have thoughts. Grogu's character development remains as stunted as his growth and Star Wars needs to be brave enough to do something about it. Richard's hill this week: trailers on streaming platforms can get in the bin. If he wanted to see a trailer he would look for one. He did not ask for one to autoplay the moment he hovered over a synopsis on Netflix. This then becomes a broader and entirely justified rant about adverts on streaming services, the slow and infuriating creep of the things that made cable television unbearable finding their way onto platforms people pay specifically to avoid them. Also this week: what they've been up to, where Star Wars goes from here, books they have actually read, Five Go Nowhere, and how much land does a man need. A good one. Worth the wait.
