Time for Three at the Meyerson Symphony Center; Zebra mussels in Lake Fort Phantom Hill
Time for Three is a unique musical group -- three friends who got together in college and formed an unusual configuration consisting of two violins and a double bass. They've played clubs as much as concert halls, and this weekend at the Meyerson Symphony Center, Time for Three will play a work written especially for them along with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. Kurt Rongey with KERA's sister station WRR 101 sat down with them. Also, Abilene's Lake Fort Phantom Hill is the latest of three-dozen Texas lakes that have been declared "infested" with Zebra mussels. As KACU's Caysson Higgins reports, that's the strongest designation the state gives for the presence of this invasive species.
