The battle over Oakland’s billboards
If you've driven on I-880 near downtown Oakland recently, you may have noticed a new billboard. It’s a black and white photo of a guy in a tank top, flexing, with a dramatic skyline behind him. The text says, "Son of Oakland: For the People, with the People."
