OTT #208 - What was it like to fly in the 90's? (Summer season 2026)

  Sep 5, 202658 minS25

This week, Alex & Dan rush to the departure gates as they board their last flight of Summer Season 2026 - this time, talking about a simpler, more spacious and relaxing time in the air - what flying in the 1990s was really like! From ample leg room, an abudance of luggage space - to as much second hand smoke as you could fill your lungs with - and metal cutlery, lax security and loved ones escorting you onto the plane - it was a wild time in the 90s and that was even after you needed to make your way to the High Street to purchase the holiday from the Travel Agents and procure your paper tickets! It's another nostalgic walk down memory lane - grab your steamed face towel as we mourn an enjoyable trip abroad! p.s. no cigarettes were consumed in the making of this episode artwork - neither Alex or Dan condone smoking - it's for chumps! #GITS #Onthetopic #TWRAD #Southcoastsounds #hotel #holiday #trips #flying #nostalgia #90s #smokingisforchumps NEW!
