Hello Adventurers! Right on the heels of the Berlin FanFest was Otakon, an anime con in Washington DC. They even had some awesome Final Fantasy XIV guests there, too! The men, the myths, the legends, Michael-Christopher Koji Fox (Localization Director at Square Enix) and Toshio “Foxclon” Murouchi (Head of Square Enix’s Community & Service Division and Global Community Producer for Final Fantasy XIV), to be exact. And somehow, we were fortunate enough to get to interview them! But to really give our Adventurers as much Koji and Foxclon content as we could, we also talk about two of the panels they were on while at Otakon. The ones we cover are Adventures in Localization: Koji Fox’s Journey Across FINAL FANTASY XI, XIV, and XVI and Duty Finder: Otakon 2026 – A FINAL FANTASY XIV Community Panel. So this episode has plenty of bang for your gil! The Spoiler Food is: Evercold Shaved Ice “Thinly shaved ice, generously heaped into an oversmall bowl and drizzled with sweet-yet-tangy rolanberry syrup. Why it never melts is a question best served cold.” The reason that this is the spoiler food will be come evident during the interview.
