Drawing on her background in law and her own family's experience with sudden, life-altering illness, Anna walks through life insurance, disability insurance, long-term care insurance, and the four key estate documents every family needs. It's not a fun topic, but as Anna puts it, it's one of the most tangible acts of love we can offer the people we care about. Not legal or financial advice — just Anna sharing what she's learned through personal experience and working with professionals. Rule of thumb: Have coverage of at least 10 times your lost income, and lock in rates while you're young. Disability insurance replaces approximately 60% of your income tax-free.
