延續選書，再來看看始作俑者的國家在「玉音」發佈投降宣言那24小時的掙扎、角力、妥協、抗爭、屈辱……「小男孩」和「胖子」摧毀和傷害的人數，並不下於上述婦女受害的數目。 兩本圖像化的書一起讀，複雜的心情真是需要大口大口的喘氣。 所以最後跟大家分享一本算是輕鬆（？）好吧！至少是小說家或許算是樂觀的音樂推理系列之作。 如果，書中的主角相信音樂可以超越人種的歧視障礙，那麼我希望，閱讀也能夠擁有這樣的力量。 八旗文化：《日本最漫長的一天-上&下》 時報文化：《現在蓋布文》

多年以前，猜想部分原因是拜《阿信》這齣日劇風靡全台，國內片商引進了同樣由田中裕子主演的電影《望鄉》，說的是日本慰安婦的故事。 印象中最深的，是後來戰爭結束後回鄉的女主角，看到哥哥用她賺來的錢蓋起的大屋，在泡澡時聽到嫂嫂的冷言冷語，將自己整個沉入浴桶當中，企圖以熱水掩蓋自己滿臉的淚水。 如果有錢可領的本國籍婦女遭到的是這樣的待遇，殖民地台灣的婦女曾被某位企業家說這是她們自願改善家庭環境的方式，那麼身為被佔領地，是在路上被捉走，送到前線去「慰安」，甚至還不到發育年齡的韓國女子呢？ 命如草芥，或許和本週選書書名並非全然相同的意思，但是我在這本圖像式小說中看到的，卻是在戰爭中，人，尤其是女人行過的地獄。 八旗文化：《草》
