#1080 "When God Feels Absent, Keep Rowing" A REVING the Word Intervals Workout
What do you do when you followed God into the boat, and then He seems to disappear? When the storm lasts longer than you expected, the answers don't come, and you find yourself asking, Where are You, God? In this REVING the Word experience, Alisa Keeton walks through John 6:16–21, where the disciples find themselves rowing through a storm after witnessing Jesus perform a miracle. As you move your body, you'll explore what it means to trust God when He feels absent, and to recognize His presence in the middle of the storm. Train your heart as you move your body. Whether you're walking, running, or cleaning the house as you listen, this is an invitation to get honest and bring your questions before God. You don't have to understand the storm to trust the One who put you in the boat. Today's Scripture John 6:16–21 Embodied Practice: Grab a notebook, on the left side write out your groans, your questions, complaints, frustrations, and fears. Bring it honestly to God. Then, on the right side, write: "But as for me..." Lift all these things up to God. Trust Him. Follow Him. He is worthy. Keep rowing. Playlist for this REVING the Word: So Good – riley.
