Kids for sale: A Survivor Now Leading the Fight to Free Thousands

  Sep 23, 202657 minS5

She lived it. Now she is building the way out. Alia Azariah is a trafficking survivor and Director of Aftercare Development at Safe House Project. In this episode of Politically Basic, Kyle sits down with her for a conversation every parent in California needs to hear. Alia was groomed in Santa Barbara and trafficked out of Santa Barbara and Ventura County. It lasted for years. When she turned 18 it did not stop. It just changed shape. People hear her story and think they have never heard anything like it. She has heard her own story a hundred times. That is the point. This is not rare. This is the pattern. And it is happening here. This episode is about the kids who are still being sold. The signs most people miss. What aftercare actually takes. And what it looks like when a survivor leads the work instead of becoming a headline. Watch. Share. Do not look away. Full conversation on Politically Basic. Kids for Sale | Assemblyman David Tangipa on Why CA looks the Other Way

  Sep 16, 202644 minS5

Kids for sale. That is not a slogan. That is the reality California has allowed to grow. On this episode of Politically Basic, Kyle sits down with California State Assemblyman David Tangipa to talk about the crime that should have universal agreement and somehow still does not: child sex trafficking. California has the highest incidents of trafficking in the nation. It is the fastest growing crime in the country and in the world. And the laws coming out of Sacramento keep blurring the line instead of drawing it.

Kids for Sale | The California Record They Hope You Never See with Steve Hilton

  Sep 9, 202633 minS5

What happens when nearly half a million unaccompanied kids are handed to HHS and the vetting is stripped because it takes too long? Steve Hilton sits down with Kyle Campbell and does not blink. 479,000 children into HHS. Camps that released kids with almost no checks. A container lot used as an address. An Interpol wanted MS13 sponsor. 65,000 calls to the trafficking hotline that no one answered. 330,000 kids still unaccounted for. Hilton’s question is simple. Was this sloppy management or was the system changed so these outcomes became more likely? Then he draws the line voters actually have to walk. A trafficker in chief or someone who will fight it. A candidate who runs to the car when the press asks about the camps or a candidate who keeps showing up with a plan. This is not only a border story. Family courts. Public schools. LA Unified paying billions on abuse claims. A state that is functionally bankrupt. Hilton says they are the same crisis with different labels. The last stretch is the part Sacramento does not want said out loud. The plan already exists. The people who know how to run it are ready. Stronger families and faith are the long game. The new poll shows an eight point gap and Becerra’s numbers falling because this story will not stay buried. Search the HHS count. Read the whistleblowers. Watch him explain the rule changes. Then decide who you trust with California kids.

From Homelessness to City Hall with Alexander Stoeber

  Aug 19, 202658 minS5

Alexander Stoeber joins Kyle Campbell on Politically Basic for a raw conversation you will not hear on mainstream outlets. From childhood homelessness and a mother who beat thirty years of addiction to graduating UCSB and building a successful real estate career in Santa Barbara, Alexander’s story is pure California resilience. Now running as an independent for Santa Barbara City Council, he breaks down the real crisis behind the homeless label, the wealth gap in one of the most beautiful cities in America, property rights under local control, and why too many residents feel city hall has become overly authoritarian. Key topics covered: Personal journey from homelessness to real estate success Why California still gets homelessness wrong The three different situations hidden under one label Wealth disparity and the 1 percent homelessness rate in Santa Barbara Property owners blocked from building on their own land Campaign pitch focused on local function instead of party labels The growing authoritarian feel in California city government If you care about California politics, Newsom era failures, election integrity at the local level, and the freedom agenda, this episode delivers unfiltered truth.
