When safety is threatened, every part of our emotional and relational wellness is impacted, including how we build trust, how we form relationships, and how we experience the world around us. In this episode, we dive into the realities of the immigration crisis shaping our nation. Families across America are living with fear, uncertainty, and trauma, many who never imagined they would be at risk. These stories remind us that policy is personal and that compassion must guide our advocacy. I was deeply honored to share this space with Heidy De La Cruz, a podcaster, speaker, and podcast launch coach. Heidy is the host of the two time award winning podcast The American Dream in the Eyes of Immigrants, where immigrants share their journey of coming to the United States. Heidy speaks about immigration, teaches all things podcasting and digital marketing, and shares her mental health experience on managing her PTSD. She also coaches Latina women and busy moms to start their podcasts in six weeks or less using The V.O.I.C.E Method. While doing this impactful work, she also hosts the Podcasting for Latina CEOs Podcast, where she discusses all things online business and podcasting.
