Crown Conversations: Sarah Krishna’s Story | Miss Orlando Carnival Queen 2026 Winner
In this episode of Crown Conversations, I have the pleasure of sitting down with an incredible woman, leader, and now the reigning Miss Orlando Carnival Queen 2026, Sarah Krishna. Although Sarah and I shared the pageant journey together, our busy schedules often had us crossing paths only briefly during appearances and events. That made this conversation even more meaningful. I finally had the opportunity to slow down, sit with her, and learn more about the remarkable woman behind the crown. This interview was originally planned to be recorded before the pageant concluded, but life had other plans. Between our schedules—and Sarah immediately stepping into the responsibilities of her new title—we weren’t able to record until the week after she was crowned. Looking back, I think the timing made this conversation even more special. Throughout our discussion, Sarah shares her heart, her purpose, and the work that drives her both professionally and personally. While many people know her as a pageant queen, there is so much more to her story. We dive into: Her journey through the Miss Orlando Carnival Queen Pageant. The importance of serving others with compassion and purpose. Her work supporting older adults, including individuals living with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and memory-related conditions. Her commitment to making a positive impact within her community. Balancing a demanding professional career with pageantry, leadership, and service. Her own podcast and passion for meaningful conversations. What motivates her to continue giving back while embracing new opportunities. One of my favorite moments during this interview was realizing just how many incredible things Sarah has accomplished that she speaks about with such humility. Listening to her story reminded me that some of the most inspiring people aren’t the loudest—they simply let their actions speak for themselves. Sarah’s dedication to helping others, her leadership, and her servant’s heart make her a wonderful representative of the Miss Orlando Carnival Queen title. It was an honor to spend this time with her, and I’m grateful she made room in her incredibly busy schedule to share her story. This episode is part of my Crown Conversations series, where I’m highlighting the amazing women I had the privilege of sharing this pageant journey with. Every contestant has a unique story, a unique platform, and a unique purpose—and I hope these conversations inspire you to learn more about the women behind the crowns. Thank you, Sarah, for your friendship, your leadership, and for everything you continue to do for our community. ️ Listen now on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, Amazon Music, iHeartRadio, and wherever you enjoy podcasts.
