Michael Yellow Bird is a Professor at the Faculty of Social Work at the University of Manitoba, Canada. He is an enrolled member of the Mandan Hidatsa Arikara Nation in North Dakota, USA. He is the creator of ‘Navajo Highways’, a puppet show starring Ash and Sadie, two fictional characters, teaching and discussing Navajo language, traditions, and culture.
