Big Questions of Faith - Gambling

  Jul 29, 202628 minS4

In the past eight years, gambling wagers in the United States have increased — you might want to sit down — 3,000 percent. No, that's not a typo! Americans are gambling a lot, and they're doing it in lots of new ways. Sports betting is the chief driver, but new prediction markets have taken wagers into the worlds of politics, pop culture, current events and much more. Let's hit pause for a moment to consider what the Bible has to say about gambling. Are Christians allowed to gamble? And, perhaps more importantly, why do we want to? Join your Big Questions of Faith hosts Dayne Logan and Will Herron as they explore these questions and more in episode two of our fourth season.
