Rippin' Throats #31: Exclusive Jailhouse Interview

  Oct 3, 20261h 2mS1

As Jay and Jeff ready themselves and their audience for the long, challenging, and immensely rewarding journey of discussing the 2021 Peacock streaming series MacGruber, they spend some time analyzing an “exclusive jailhouse interview” with MacGruber that was released ahead of the series’ debut. It’s pretty great. But the real reason you should listen to this episode is the debut of a new Sax Dragons (featuring Rippin' Scrotes) song called “We Hang Together,” which pays tribute to all the penises across the globe. No matter your shape or size, we salute you, penises!

Rippin' Throats #30: The Dark Decade

  Sep 26, 20261h 10m

Uncomfortable as it may be, Jeff and Jay reflect on the dark decade between the MacGruber movie’s failure at the box office and the miraculous announcement that a MacGruber TV series would be coming to Peacock. Also, we correct a terrible error and give an A+ throat rip from recent popular culture it’s due.

Patiently endure our discussion of the second-most-desirable Miata ever produced, the man with the world’s largest penis, and relying on the morning after pill as your only form of birth control before we eventually get around to completing our examination of Rambo: First Blood Part II, which is effing nuts and is definitely a huge influence on MacGruber.

Rippin' Throats #28: The man who owns MacGruber’s Miata

  Sep 11, 20261h 20m

Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer. That’s the motivating factor behind our decision to bring Brandon from BC Delorean on to Rippin’ Throats to talk about how he — and not your favorite podcast co-hosts — came to own MacGruber’s Miata. Join us as Brandon introduces us to some of the finer points of Blaupunkt shopping; a difficult decision about keeping some white shoe polish on the car’s exterior; and how the Miata isn’t the first famous SNL-affiliated movie car he came to possess. (He owns Garth’s Mirthmobile from Wayne’s World (!!!!))

Rippin' Throats #27: Coyote vs. Acme vs. MacGruber

  Sep 3, 20261 hourS1

Coyote vs. Acme, the half-animated film that Warner Brothers DIDN’T want you to see, swept across the nation’s theaters last week. And we’re duty-bound to help you understand the myriad of ways in which Coyote vs. Acme inherited more from MacGruber than a lead actor (Will Forte). Patiently wait through our discussion of the appearance of a Miata in a 2012 psychological thriller, the one instance in which “go to a glory hole” is solid advice, and a deeply challenging word game involving vaginas and you’ll be rewarded with some great insights about Coyote vs. Acme!
