167: Why Gratitude Is the Most Overlooked Nervous System Tool Men Have to Beat Addiction
Sep 29, 20267 min
Today — gratitude is your superpower. Use it daily. Most men in recovery are focused on everything they have lost, everything that is broken, and everything that is still wrong. That focus becomes the filter through which they see their entire life. But where you focus is where you go — and a daily gratitude practice is one of the most overlooked nervous system tools available to men who want to change direction. In this episode you will learn: Why focusing on the positives focuses you on the positives — what you look for you will find every time Why where you focus is where you go and how gratitude redirects your nervous system toward what is already working Your action step today — write your gratitude list before you look at your phone and carry it with you all day Click play now if you have been focused on everything that is wrong and you are ready to train your attention toward everything that is right. 166: How Men With Addiction Find Hope When Everything Feels Out of Control
Sep 26, 20269 min
Today — hope does not come from someone or something else. Hope comes from your attitude. Most men wait for their circumstances to change before they allow themselves to feel hope. But hope built on circumstances will collapse the moment circumstances shift. Real hope is built from the inside out — through attitude, gratitude, and where you choose to put your focus. In this episode you will learn: Why your attitude determines your perspective and your nervous system determines your attitude Why gratitude changes attitude and how practicing it daily is a nervous system regulation tool not just positive thinking Why where you put your focus is where you live your life and how the morning practice pre-loads your focus before the day gets a vote Click play now if you are waiting for something outside yourself to give you hope and you are ready to find out it was inside you all along. 165: How Men With Addiction Use Daily Nervous System Practice to Rehearse the Man They Are Becoming Instead of Repeating the Man They Were
Sep 22, 20267 min
Today — every time you do the practice you are not fixing the old man. You are rehearsing the new one. Most men approach the practices as damage control. Trying to fix what is broken. Stop what is destructive. That framing keeps them stuck because it is rooted in the old identity. The practices are not about who you have been. They are about who you actually are. In this episode you will learn: Why most men approach the practices as damage control and why that framing keeps them stuck Why the practices are rehearsal for the man you are becoming not repair for the man you were Why over time the rehearsal becomes the reality and identity change happens at the body level Click play now if you are ready to stop fixing the old man and start rehearsing the one you actually are. 164: Why Your Inside World and Outside World Do Not Match and How Nervous System Regulation and Spiritual Strength Close the Gap
Sep 19, 20269 min
Today — the split between who you are on the inside and who shows up on the outside is not a character problem. It is a nervous system problem. And there is a way to close it. Most men are living a split life without knowing it. What they feel inside does not match what shows up on the outside. That gap is not a moral failure. It is a nervous system that has never learned how to be the same man in every room. In this episode you will learn: Why the split between your inside world and outside world is the source of most men's pain Why the spiritual life is about becoming the same man in every room not being more religious Why nervous system regulation is what makes that integration possible Click play now if you are tired of feeling like a different man on the inside than the one showing up on the outside. What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
