Bringing Gravestones into the Digital Age
Together Dain and Susana Guttenbeil are turning tragedy into hope and comfort for families in mourning. They run Lifestone NZ which is focused on providing pastoral care, and creating different ways to remember those we've lost, through alternative headstone markers made of material sourced in New Zealand. They've developed clever codes that perform like a QR code that can go on grave markers to help people view images and listen to the voices of their loved ones, and more recently they've been making cremation urns made of a unique shell mix. Dain popped in while Susana held down the fort at her other mahi as GM of Content at Pacific Media Network... in between the momentous task of parenting their tamariki, including their triplets!
