In this particular episode, you’ll hear from Dr. Matthew Kim, the Director of the PhD in Preaching Program at Truett Seminary. He is also the Professor of Preaching and Pastoral Leadership and Holder of the George W. Truett Endowed Chair in Preaching and Evangelism. Dr. Kim earned a MTh and PhD from the University of Edinburgh, a MDiv from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and a BA from Carleton College. He is the author of "Ready to Preach: An Introduction to Homiletics,"; "Preaching with Cultural Intelligence: Understanding the People Who Hear Our Sermons"; "Preaching to People in Pain: How Suffering Can Shape Your Sermons and Connect with Your Congregation" and "Preaching to a Divided Nation: A Seven-Step Model for Promoting Reconciliation and Unity," among many others.
