Dare to Plan Your Aging Experience: An Insider’s Guide To Discover What Matters to You
On this 'Senior To Seniors,' we welcome Kim Shea, author of the book 'Dare to Plan Your Aging Experience: An Insider’s Guide & Workbook to Discover What Matters to You.' Kim has worked with older adults for nearly 25 years, including experience as a private caregiver, activities coordinator in skilled nursing, retirement coach, discussion-circle facilitator, and senior living guide. Her work focuses on helping older adults and families think ahead—about aging in place, senior living, loneliness, caregiving, purpose, health, family, housing, pets, spirituality, and the decisions that shape the later chapters of life. Kim currently provides senior living guidance, helping families explore aging-in-place resources as well as community living options when staying home is no longer the best choice. Her services are described as no-charge to clients. Kim is also known for facilitating Friendship Builders Circles and Grief Support Circles, helping older adults build connection, community, and support during seasons of loss, transition, and change. Her new book, 'Dare to Plan Your Aging Experience,' is a 132-page guidebook and workbook designed to help older adults thoughtfully consider what they want as they age—and to help caregivers provide support with more compassion, clarity, and respect. It is available on Amazon. Kim can be found at her website: https://seniorlg.com and on LinkedIn at: https://www.linkedin.com/in/kim-shea-06575b14.
