Smart Home with Fexingo looks beyond the hype to examine the real-world economics, engineering, and user experience of IoT devices and home automation. Lucas and Luna dissect how smart thermostats, voice assistants, connected locks, and sensor networks are reshaping energy consumption, home security, and daily routines — and what the numbers say about adoption, privacy, and interoperability. Each episode takes a single aspect of the smart home — from Matter protocol standardization to the energy savings of a Nest thermostat versus a programmable dumb thermostat — and builds a conversation around specific data points and case studies. Lucas, a journalist, presses for evidence: Do smart plugs actually reduce standby power enough to pay for themselves? How do smart doorbells handle data retention policies in different jurisdictions? Luna, the engaged interlocutor, grounds the discussion in practical trade-offs — what works for apartment renters versus homeowners, how voice control fails f

How Smart Water Heaters Learn Your Shower Schedule
Aug 21, 20268 minS4
In this episode of Smart Home with Fexingo, Lucas and Luna explore the surprisingly clever world of smart water heaters and how they use machine learning to predict your hot water demand. They dig into the technology behind predictive heating, which learns your family's morning shower routine and evening dishwashing habits, and how it can cut energy bills by up to 20 percent. They also touch on real-world examples from major manufacturers, the role of time-of-use electricity rates, and what to consider before upgrading your water heater. If you've ever wondered whether a smart water heater is worth the investment, this episode gives you the concrete numbers and practical insights you need. Tune in to learn how your water heater can become the smartest appliance in your home. #SmartWaterHeater #PredictiveHeating #EnergySavings #HomeAutomation #IoT #MachineLearning #SmartHome #ConnectedLiving #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #Technology #EnergyEfficiency #TimeOfUseRates #ShowerSchedule #HotWater #WaterHeaterTech #SmartAppliances #HomeTech Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
Smart locks have quietly become one of the most useful pieces of the connected home, but they only shine when they learn your patterns without you noticing. In this episode, Lucas and Luna dig into how modern smart locks build a model of your comings and goings—using sensors, geofencing, and a bit of machine learning—to auto-unlock, arm your security system, and even adjust your thermostat. They walk through a real-world example: a family whose lock learns their weekday 7:40 a.m. exit and 6:15 p.m. return, and how it syncs with other devices. They also tackle the privacy trade-offs, the importance of local processing, and what happens when the lock gets it wrong—like that time Luna's lock refused to open for her pizza delivery. If you've ever wondered whether your door can be as smart as your thermostat, this episode gives you the practical details and the questions to ask before you buy. #SmartLocks #HomeAutomation #IoT #ConnectedHome #Geofencing #MachineLearning #Privacy #SmartHomeSecurity #HomeTech #LucasAndLuna #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #Technology #SmartHome #HomeSecurity #AutoUnlock #DeviceLearning #TechPodcast Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
This week on Smart Home with Fexingo, Lucas and Luna explore how modern smart thermostats are getting smarter about vacation mode. Instead of just switching to an away temperature, the latest systems learn from your past trips to set the perfect energy-saving schedule. They look at a real example: a family who saved 18 percent on their heating bill over a two-week winter getaway, thanks to their thermostat adjusting based on their home's thermal mass and their return time. The hosts discuss the technology behind this — from occupancy sensors and geofencing to machine learning models that predict your arrival — and the privacy trade-offs of sharing location data with your thermostat. They also talk about the practical side: what happens if your flight gets delayed, or if you come home a day early, and how the thermostat adapts in real time. If you've ever come back from a trip to a freezing house or a sky-high energy bill, this episode is for you. Tune in to learn how your smart thermostat can become your travel-savvy home manager. #SmartThermostat #VacationMode #EnergySavings #HomeAutomation #IoT #Geofencing #MachineLearning #SmartHome #EnergyEfficiency #TravelTech #ThermostatLearning #HomeComfort #Privacy #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #Technology #ConnectedLiving #SmartHomeTech Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
In this episode, Lucas and Luna explore how smart water sensors and shut-off valves are learning household water-use patterns to detect leaks early and even prevent water damage. They dive into the technology behind flow-regularity detection, the role of machine learning in distinguishing normal use from anomalies, and how these systems are getting better at understanding your family's unique plumbing rhythms without needing a smart home hub. Along the way, they discuss the practical benefits—like potential insurance discounts and reduced water bills—and the privacy considerations of having a device that monitors every flush and shower. If you've ever wondered whether a smart water system is worth the investment or how it actually works under the hood, this episode offers a clear, conversational breakdown. How Smart Home Cameras Learn to Ignore Your Neighbor's Cat
Aug 17, 202610 minS4
In this episode of Smart Home with Fexingo, Lucas and Luna dive into the surprisingly tricky world of smart home camera notifications. Most of us have experienced the frustration of an alert for every passing car, squirrel, or shadow — and the clever tech that fixes it. We look at how on-device AI, computer vision, and machine learning algorithms are teaching cameras to distinguish between a potential intruder and a neighbor's cat. We break down the specific techniques: object detection, motion zones, and the role of cloud vs. local processing. Plus, we discuss the privacy trade-offs — what your camera learns about your neighborhood and where that data goes. If you've ever wanted to silence the false alarms without sacrificing security, this episode is for you. #SmartHome #IoT #HomeSecurity #SmartCameras #ComputerVision #MachineLearning #Privacy #HomeAutomation #Technology #ConnectedLiving #AI #SmartDevices #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #HomeTech #SecurityCameras #FalseAlarms #EdgeAI Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo

Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
