EP 174 - A Crazy Man, Sushi Night, and My Neighbor Saw Everything
Jul 23, 202623 min
This week is pure chaos. We spill the story of the absolutely unhinged man who learned the hard way that being mean has consequences, why taking my son out for sushi turned into one of those "you had to be there" parenting moments, and the childhood trauma that still lives rent-free in my head after a neighbor unexpectedly walked into Cami's house... while her undergarments were somehow scattered EVERYWHERE. If you've ever had one of those moments that keeps you awake at 2 a.m. years later, welcome to the club. Grab your drink—this one is ridiculous.

EP 173 - Should You Still Eat That Lettuce? & Farmers Market Fails
Jul 16, 202630 min
Most of us are just trying to survive the grocery aisle without contracting some mysterious Michigan parasite. But what if your lettuce is giving you more than just fresher vibes? This episode peels back the curtain on food safety, with jaw-dropping stories about rancid meat, mysterious parasites in Mexico (and pools), and the shocking truth about what's hiding in your favorite farmers market produce. Spoiler: don’t bother asking the farmer about returning spoiled meat — unless you want a lecture on how much they “thought it looked weird,” while you’re left with a bucket of spoiled groceries and no apology. You’ll discover: Why chlorine doesn't kill parasites and how they’re sneaking into your water, salads, and possibly your pool. The real reason why some highly trusted farmers might be hiding dark secrets about their meat and produce. How a simple drive to the farmers market turned into a quest for justice — and what business owners should learn about customer service. The bizarre (and surprisingly effective) traditional remedies from Africa that make cow dung and natural bacteria look like superfoods. Plus, tips on navigating the complicated world of processed foods, farm-to-table fraud, and whether to toss that organic bundle of greens in the trash or cook it into a pesto disaster. This episode is perfect for health-conscious parents, skeptical shoppers, or anyone who's ever wondered, “Should I eat this or just order dino nuggets forever?” It’s a wild ride through food safety, small business battles, and the weirdness we encounter every day that makes us question everything, even our own sanity. Tune in to find out if your next grocery trip is a health gamble or a safe bet — and how to avoid becoming the next parasite statistic.Hosts are integrating real-life stories, shocking statistics, and a healthy dose of sarcasm to turn a seemingly mundane topic into a must-listen comedy of errors that might just save your stomach — and your soul.
