In this episode we hear Sydney Catholic Schools HSC Drama students: INDIVIDUAL PROJECT | Performance Good Samaritan College Hinchinbrook - Chantel Marist Sisters’ College Woolwich - Elsie INDIVIDUAL PROJECT | Video Drama St Mary's Cathedral College Sydney - Joel GROUP PERFORMANCE Mount Saint Joseph College Milperra - Hilary, Chloe, Stacey, Annisha, Aimee St Mary's Cathedral College Sydney - Luke, Joel, Cameron, Adrian, Jasper The individual project is an opportunity for a student to select and focus on an area of interest. These include Performance and Video Drama. The most popular option currently selected by students is Performance. Video Drama allows students to create and utilise the elements of drama through their script development through the medium of film. The group performance allows students to work on building a strong ensemble and highlights the process and the exploration of problem solving, collaboration, decision making and time management. In this season, we explore the impact of an Arts Education on the 2024 candidates and how following their passion; building their skillset and finding focus and discipline in the process, led to their HSC success. These young artists were selected to perform in the HSC Live or Digital Showcase as exemplary performers nominated by their schools. Many of these students were also nominated for NESA's Showcase Events Callback, Encore and Onstage.
