Interviews of people who took a break from life at one point or another to get help, grow up, or just to reassess their life direction. Some guests struggled with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, a death in the family, or just decided college was not the place for them. These stories are all-to-real, and yet we don't talk enough about how common it is for those who took a gap year to defer college, went to college and took a break, or those who struggled launching into the workforce post-college graduation. This goes out to all the young adults and parents of young adults who are struggling and contemplating what will happen if they walk away right now.

Episode 361 - Beach Cities Gateway: Turning Personal Experience into Purpose with Debbie Murad
Aug 11, 202625 minS4
Debbie Murad spent years chasing achievement before realizing that purpose—not prestige—was what truly guided her career. From nonprofit leadership and clinical social work to teaching graduate students at USC, each chapter of her journey prepared her for something she never expected: creating a program inspired by both her professional experience and her own daughter's challenges navigating life after high school. In this episode of Success is Subjective , Debbie shares how supporting neurodivergent young adults reshaped her understanding of success, why allowing her daughter to fail became an important turning point, and how those experiences led her to found Beach Cities Gateway. Together, she and Joanna explore purpose, parenting, life after high school, and why there is no one-size-fits-all path to adulthood. Episode 358 - Redefining Independence: Why Every Young Adult's Journey Looks Different with Kasey Bradshaw
Jul 21, 202621 minS4
In this episode of Success is Subjective , Joanna sits down with Kasey Bradshaw, National Director of Admissions and Outreach at BrightQuest Treatment Centers, to discuss the winding road that led him from a small, impoverished town in South Carolina to a career helping young adults navigate serious mental health challenges. Kasey shares how growing up believing college was the only path to success eventually gave way to a much broader understanding of fulfillment, purpose, and identity. Together, he and Joanna explore why adulthood doesn't have to follow a traditional timeline, the difference between a career and a calling, and why your job—or your diagnosis—should never define who you are. Whether you're a parent supporting a struggling young adult or someone questioning your own path, this conversation is a refreshing reminder that there's more than one way to build a meaningful life. Episode 350: From Hong Kong to Addiction Treatment - How Human Connection Shaped a 38-Year Career with Brian Coon
May 26, 202626 minS4
In this episode of Success is Subjective, Joanna sits down with Brian Coon, Chief Clinical Officer at Pavilion, for a thoughtful conversation about identity, purpose, and redefining success on your own terms. Brian shares what it was like growing up overseas in Hong Kong before moving to rural Illinois as a teenager, how his early love of marine biology unexpectedly led him into psychology and addiction treatment, and why he has remained in the field for nearly four decades despite the high burnout rate in the profession. Together, Joanna and Brian explore the pressure many young adults face to follow a predetermined path, the value of learning through mistakes, and the importance of finding trusted mentors and allies outside the family system. Brian’s perspective as both a clinician and storyteller offers a grounded, deeply human conversation about curiosity, growth, and building a life that reflects your own values instead of someone else’s expectations. If you have a concern about deliverability, AI quality, data privacy, or whether this will actually work for your specific situation, it's probably answered below.
What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
What if I have more than 50 profiles or 20 clients?
That is our Enterprise tier. Contact our sales team and we will build a custom plan with volume pricing, a dedicated account manager, and SLA guarantees.
