9/13/26 - Washington Hearts and Stroke Walks (The Teh Family + Amy Winsor)
The time is approaching for two Washington Heart and Stroke Walks. First up will be Sept. 19 at Tacoma's Cheney Stadium, followed by Oct. 10 at Seattle Center. To share a story and information on the events, we have Ava Teh, who at 13 is a participant, someone who already has had a personal journey with heart disease. Ava's parents, Pamela and Zane Teh, also join us to share their experience and perspective. Additionally participating is Amy Winsor, the volunteer chair for the event and Associate VP of Heart Center Strategy and Operations at Mary Bridge Children's. There are major fundraising and awareness raising walks, all important for awareness of cardiovascular disease. It is the number one killer of women, causing more deaths each year than all forms of cancer combined. www.heart.org See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info .
