We begin with the extraordinary saga surrounding the USS Abraham Lincoln, as reports of deteriorating conditions and collapsing morale aboard the long-deployed American aircraft carrier raise new questions about Washington’s increasingly overstretched war machine and its open-ended confrontation with Iran.
