What if the person God wants to help is already standing right in front of you? It's easy to care about people in theory. It's much harder when loving someone interrupts our plans, stretches our resources, or asks us to get involved. In Mark 6, Jesus and His disciples encounter thousands of people in need—and their very different responses reveal something about our own hearts. In Part 3 of For the One, Pastor Steve Garcia challenges us to confront three common excuses that limit our love for others. While the disciples saw an inconvenience, Jesus saw people who needed compassion. And instead of allowing His disciples to send the problem away, Jesus invited them to become part of the solution. This message reminds us that God doesn't need us to have unlimited time, resources, or ability. He simply asks us to place what we already have in His hands and allow Him to use it. Maybe instead of asking, "Who's going to do something about this?" we need to begin asking: "What if I am the someone God just sent?"
