Shane Ramer is the founder and host of That Sober Guy Podcast, a culture and performance platform examining what happens when high-performing men remove alcohol and reclaim clarity, focus, and leverage. Since launching the show in 2014, Shane has reached millions of listeners across 100+ countries by challenging conventional narratives around masculinity, success, and sobriety. His work sits at the intersection of identity, discipline, and modern performance. Shane works privately with executives, founders, athletes, and creatives who are no longer interested in numbing high performance with low-level coping tools. His approach reframes sobriety not as healing, but as optimization, removing friction so men can operate with precision in business, health, and leadership. He is also the creator of the Sober Male Index, a performance-focused data project tracking how sobriety impacts focus, productivity, income, and social dynamics in men. Shane is a husband of 20 years, a father of two, and lives his work through faith, fitness, and daily discipline.

We Have Officially Lost the Plot | UFC Controversy, NFL Drama, Baseball's Fourth Out & Politics
Aug 19, 202649 min
UFC controversy, Jayden Daniels and the great LSU jersey-number debate, baseball somehow discovering a fourth out , and the latest circus that is American politics. In this episode, Shane Ramer takes a sarcastic look at the strange world we're living in, and asks why we've become so obsessed with everything, all the time. From athletes and attention-seeking to politics, social media, and the never-ending need to have an opinion, maybe the real problem isn't that there's too much happening... Maybe we're consuming too much of it. Shane also gets into what sobriety taught him about protecting your attention, staying clear-headed, and knowing when to step away from the noise. It's sports. It's culture. It's politics. It's ridiculous. And apparently, baseball has four outs now. Welcome to the plot. We're all a little lost. Brad Pitt Is Drinking Again... And Apparently We Give a $h!T | Celebrity Sobriety, Social Media Scams & Why Everyone Needs to Get Off the Internet
Aug 13, 202656 min
In this episode, Shane takes a sarcastic look at Brad’s decision to drink after seven years sober, the obsession with celebrity recovery, and why we seem to care more about what famous people are doing than what’s happening in our own lives. Then we go down the social media rabbit hole, Facebook arguments, influencer scams, “COMMENT FART AND I’LL SEND YOU MY FREE GUIDE,” and the bizarre reality that social media used to be fun.Because maybe the bigger problem isn't Brad Pitt drinking. Maybe it's that we're all spending way too much time watching everybody else live their lives. Funny, irreverent, and occasionally uncomfortable, as usual. What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
What if I have more than 50 profiles or 20 clients?
That is our Enterprise tier. Contact our sales team and we will build a custom plan with volume pricing, a dedicated account manager, and SLA guarantees.
