Lenny Dingemans, Senior Project Manager at WSI Comandix and Mike's right-hand man in production, joins the Angry Ops Guy after nearly 16 years of surviving agency operations together. They get into what it actually takes to work at agency pace, why real project management is learned in the trenches, the obsession with quality that has shaped both of their careers, and how a nervous kid Mike absolutely did not want to hire somehow became the person he trusts to run the department he spent years trying to escape. Mostly, though, this is two longtime friends shooting the shit about growing up together inside an agency. There are late nights, broken websites, wrestling on company time, questionable management techniques and enough evidence to confirm that Comandix was probably better off without an HR department. Underneath all the nonsense is a story about loyalty, mentorship, trust, and what happens when someone you once had to push becomes better at the job than you ever were.
