The Audrey and Jeremy Show
Ep. 42: RAD Camp featuring Colleen and Reagan Farrell
In this episode of The Audrey & Jeremy Show, Audrey and Jeremy sit down with Colleen Fell and Reagan Farrell from RAD Camp (Rising Above Disabilities) to talk about the community, friendships, and unforgettable experiences that make camp so special. Colleen and Reagan share what goes into creating RAD Camp’s summer programs for children and adults with disabilities, from pairing campers one-on-one with counselors to planning activities, raising funds, recruiting volunteers, and making sure every camper can fully participate. They also discuss RAD Camp’s incredible growth, including serving 287 campers across three summer sessions while continuing to work toward reaching the more than 500 families on the waiting list. Audrey and Jeremy share some of their own favorite RAD Camp memories, including the friendships they’ve made, their favorite activities, and why returning to camp each year means so much to them. Jeremy also reflects on finding a place where he truly felt like he belonged—a feeling that captures what the RAD Camp community is all about. The conversation also explores the impact RAD Camp has on its volunteers, the importance of inclusion, and the many ways people can get involved—from becoming a counselor to donating their time, talents, or services. Thanks to Colleen and Reagan for joining us and for everything they do to help create a community where everyone can belong, have fun, and be themselves.
