Lucas and Luna dissect the mechanics of brand longevity in this show, where every episode examines one real company's identity and positioning choices through the lens of publicly available financial and consumer data. They avoid marketing fluff, instead tracing how brands like Patagonia, Apple, or LEGO build equity over decades—looking at their visual systems, messaging frameworks, and market reactions to pivots. Lucas often draws from his background in journalism to fact-check claims, while Luna, sketching in her notebook, pushes back with counterexamples from retail or DTC failures. Together, they explore tensions like consistency vs. cultural adaptation, or differentiation vs. category norms. Each episode ends with a specific, actionable question for the listener: What would your brand look like if you stripped away all verbal claims and let only color, shape, and product speak?#BrandStrategy #BrandIdentity #Positioning #BrandBuilding #MarketingPodcast #MarketingStrategy #BrandEqu

How Duolingo's Owl Built a Brand Empire on Chaos
Aug 18, 20268 minS4
In this episode, Lucas and Luna examine Duolingo's mascot, Duo the owl, and how a deliberately chaotic brand personality turned a language app into a cultural phenomenon. They break down the specifics: Duo's TikTok strategy, the 'passive-aggressive' notification design, and the surprising brand architecture that lets Duo break rules while the product stays trustworthy. They discuss what makes anti-branding work in a category that usually sells seriousness, and why Duolingo's approach isn't just stunts but a coherent system. If you've ever wondered how a green owl became more famous than the company it represents, this episode explains the mechanics. Plus, they share how listener support keeps the show ad-free. #Duolingo #DuoTheOwl #BrandPersonality #MascotMarketing #TikTokStrategy #AntiBranding #BrandArchitecture #LanguageLearning #MarketingStrategy #BrandStorytelling #SocialMedia #ConsumerBehavior #BrandLoyalty #ViralMarketing #Marketing #BusinessPodcast #FexingoBusiness #BrandStrategy Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
In this episode of The Brand Strategy Podcast, Lucas and Luna dig into the early days of Glossier, the beauty brand that turned customer feedback into its core brand engine. They trace how Emily Weiss's blog, Into The Gloss, became a listening lab, and how the brand's first product, Milky Jelly Cleanser, was shaped directly by reader comments. They explore the risks of building a brand on community input — the speed of iteration, the danger of echo chambers, and what happens when the community grows beyond its original niche. With examples from the launch of Boy Brow and the evolution of their marketing, Lucas and Luna ask: can a brand built on feedback survive scale? A sharp, practical conversation for anyone who thinks their customers know what they want. #Glossier #EmilyWeiss #IntoTheGloss #MilkyJellyCleanser #BoyBrow #CommunityLedBrand #CustomerFeedback #BeautyBranding #DirectToConsumer #BrandStrategy #Marketing #Business #CoCreation #EchoChamber #ProductIteration #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #BrandBuilding Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
Patagonia's Worn Wear program is more than a repair service—it's a strategic brand statement. In this episode, Lucas and Luna unpack how the outdoor apparel company turned sustainability into a loyalty engine, using specific numbers like the 2011 Black Friday 'Don't Buy This Jacket' ad and the impact of resale on customer retention. They discuss the tension between growth and durability, and why a brand that sells less can actually earn more loyalty. In this episode of The Brand Strategy Podcast, Lucas and Luna explore how Reddit transformed from a sprawling internet forum into a formidable brand defined by authentic community. They unpack the mechanics behind Reddit's rise: the karma system that incentivizes quality, the subreddit structure that enables niche ownership, and the company's deliberate shift from anonymity to accountability. With insights from Reddit's 2024 IPO and its post-IPO evolution, they discuss how the platform navigates the tension between preserving grassroots culture and scaling commercial ambitions. Lucas draws parallels to other community-driven brands like Wikipedia and Stack Overflow, while Luna challenges whether Reddit's brand equity can survive its push for growth. Liquid Death turned canned water into a cultural phenomenon by mocking the very idea of branding. In this episode, Lucas and Luna dissect the strategy behind the anti-brand: how the company used irreverent humor, metal aesthetics, and a 'murder your thirst' tagline to stand out in a category as boring as bottled water. They explore the psychology of contrarian marketing, the role of viral content, and the fine line between satire and sincerity—asking whether an anti-brand can survive its own success. With references to the brand's infamous 'Death to Plastic' campaigns, celebrity endorsements, and its recent expansion into iced tea, they unpack what makes this approach resonate with Gen Z and how it challenges conventional wisdom about authenticity. Along the way, they touch on the broader lessons for marketers: the power of a clear enemy, the value of a strong point of view, and why sometimes the best way to build a brand is to tear down the category's rules. Whether you're a marketer or just curious about how a water company got people to tattoo its logo, this episode offers a fresh take on rebellion as a brand strategy. #LiquidDeath #AntiBranding #MarketingStrategy #BrandBuilding #ViralMarketing #GenZMarketing #CannedWater #ContrarianBranding #DeathToPlastic #BrandSatire #MarketingPodcast #BusinessPodcast #FexingoBusiness #BrandStrategy #ConsumerBehavior #PackagingDesign #SocialMediaMarketing #WaterBrand Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo

What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
What if I have more than 50 profiles or 20 clients?
That is our Enterprise tier. Contact our sales team and we will build a custom plan with volume pricing, a dedicated account manager, and SLA guarantees.
