Lucas and Luna guide professionals through the practical and psychological realities of changing careers — whether shifting industries, pivoting to a new function, or making a mid-career move. Each episode dissects a single case: a teacher retraining as a data analyst, a marketing director transitioning to product management, an accountant founding a nonprofit. Lucas presses on the numbers — salary timelines, cost of retraining, ROI of certifications — while Luna explores identity, risk tolerance, and how to reframe a non-linear résumé. They compare strategies: the 'side project' approach versus full-time study, leveraging alumni networks versus cold outreach, and when to take a pay cut versus when to walk away. Listeners will hear honest trade-offs — lost seniority, imposter syndrome, family pressure — not motivational fluff. For anyone who has ever wondered if it's too late to start something new, Lucas and Luna offer no easy answers, but a clear map of the terrain.#CareerPivot #Mid

How to Build a Career Pivot Advisory Board
Aug 19, 20269 minS4
In this episode of The Career Pivot Podcast, Lucas and Luna explore a powerful but often overlooked tool for mid-career industry switches: a personal advisory board. Instead of relying on a single mentor, you assemble a small group of trusted voices—a former boss, a peer in your target field, a recruiter—who meet quarterly to pressure-test your move, offer candid feedback, and keep you accountable. Through the story of a marketing manager who pivoted to supply chain using this exact framework, Lucas and Luna break down how to choose your board members, how to structure the meetings, and what to avoid, like turning it into a social hour or leaning on friends who will tell you what you want to hear. You'll walk away with a concrete three-step plan to launch your own board this month. If you've been thinking about a career change but feel stuck in your own head, this episode gives you the structure to make the leap with clarity and confidence. #CareerPivot #AdvisoryBoard #CareerChange #IndustrySwitch #Mentorship #CareerStrategy #ProfessionalDevelopment #CareerAdvice #JobTransition #CareerGrowth #MidCareer #Networking #CareerPlanning #ExecutiveCoaching #Leadership #Careers #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
Switching industries is risky, but a well-built safety net can make the leap feel almost boring. In this episode, Lucas and Luna unpack the concept of a career pivot safety net—a mix of financial runway, a side project that generates real income, and a network of people who've made similar moves. They walk through a concrete example: a marketing manager who built a six-month runway, launched a niche consulting side gig, and used a mentor from a target industry to land a product role. You'll hear why the safety net isn't about playing it safe, but about taking a bigger swing with less fear. Plus, they share a simple framework to assess your own net's strength, from your burn rate to your 'weak ties' count. If you've been circling a career change but keep talking yourself out of it, this episode gives you a practical way to shift from anxiety to action. #CareerPivot #CareerChange #IndustrySwitch #SafetyNet #SideHustle #Mentorship #Networking #FinancialRunway #TransferableSkills #CareerAdvice #JobSearch #ProfessionalDevelopment #MidCareer #CareerTransition #Careers #Business #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
How a Career Pivot Gap Analysis Spots Hidden Industry Strengths
Aug 17, 202610 minS4
Lucas and Luna dig into the career pivot gap analysis: a structured way to compare your current skills with what a target industry actually demands. Using the real-world example of a retail operations manager moving into logistics at a company like Amazon, they walk through how to build a simple skills matrix, spot the 'adjacent strengths' hiring managers care about, and identify the two or three gaps that actually matter. No generic advice — this is a practical, numbers-driven framework you can use this week to map your own pivot. They also touch on the emotional side of seeing your gaps on paper, and how to frame those gaps as a story, not a shortcoming. Whether you're aiming for a full industry switch or a shift within your current field, this episode gives you a concrete tool to turn uncertainty into a plan. #CareerPivot #GapAnalysis #SkillsMatrix #IndustrySwitch #TransferableSkills #MidCareer #LucasAndLuna #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #Careers #ProfessionalDevelopment #JobSearch #ResumeTips #LogisticsJobs #RetailToLogistics #CareerStrategy #SkillGap #CareerAdvice Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
How a Career Pivot Bridge Role Can Ease Your Industry Switch
Aug 16, 202610 minS4
Switching industries often feels like a cliff jump. But in this episode, Lucas and Luna explore the 'bridge role' — a strategic intermediate position that lets you cross into a new sector with less risk. They dig into the story of Maya, a marketing director who moved from retail to fintech via a six-month contract at a payments startup, showing how a bridge role can build credibility, close skill gaps, and open doors that a direct pivot might keep shut. Listen as they break down the three types of bridge roles (contract, internal transfer, and adjacent-industry), how to negotiate one without sounding like you're settling, and the crucial question: when is a bridge role a smart pivot versus a detour? If you're mid-career and eyeing a different industry, this episode gives you a practical framework to make the leap more safely. #CareerPivot #IndustrySwitch #BridgeRole #MidCareerChange #CareerTransition #FintechCareer #MarketingCareer #ContractWork #InternalTransfer #AdjacentIndustry #CareerStrategy #ProfessionalGrowth #JobSearch #CareerAdvice #Careers #Business #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
How a Career Pivot Side Project Can De-Risk Your Industry Switch
Aug 15, 20269 minS4
In this episode of The Career Pivot Podcast, Lucas and Luna explore how a side project can be the ultimate de-risking tool when you're eyeing an industry switch. They dig into the story of a marketing manager who built a small analytics tool on the side to test the waters in tech—and how that project became the centerpiece of her successful pivot. They break down the three key roles a side project can play: as a low-stakes testing ground for new skills, a proof-of-concept for hiring managers, and a source of authentic stories for interviews. They also share practical tips on choosing a project with real-world constraints, documenting your progress publicly, and knowing when to wind it down. If you've ever wondered whether a side hustle could actually help your career (or just distract you), this episode offers a clear framework. Tune in to learn how a well-executed side project can turn a speculative move into a strategic one. #CareerPivot #IndustrySwitch #SideProject #CareerChange #TransferableSkills #JobSearch #ProfessionalDevelopment #CareerGrowth #LifelongLearning #PersonalBrand #Networking #InterviewTips #Careers #Business #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #CareerAdvice #MidCareer Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo

What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
