"Weed or Lotion?" & The Texts That Give You Panic Attacks
Aug 14, 202617 min
"We need to talk." Four simple words that can instantly ruin a dad’s day and send his heart rate into the stratosphere. In this loose, late-night style Dad Blast, we’re opening up with a Dad Gripe that hits way too close to home: people who send vague, ominous text messages when the actual reason for texting is completely harmless. Then, things get ridiculous as Cole hosts a brand new game show for Phil called "Weed or Lotion?" Can Phil tell the difference between a high-end strain of cannabis and a seasonal Bath & Body Works body wash just by the name? (It’s significantly harder than you think). Finally, we take a sober turn to discuss the true crime media cycle and how cases like the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie—which completely dominated the news early in the year—seem to fade from headline coverage over time despite remaining unsolved. In this episode: •Dad Gripe: The physiological panic of "We need to talk" texts. •"Weed or Lotion?": Phil guesses between dispensary strains and lotion scents. •The Media Cycle: Discussing the Nancy Guthrie missing person case and internet true crime fatigue. The ADHD DIY Trap: Why Dads Struggle With Home Projects
Aug 11, 202646 min
"Why hire a professional when I can buy $500 in tools and take 6 months to do it worse?" In this episode of The Dad Voice, we’re getting real about the chaotic, expensive, and hilarious world of DIY life as an ADHD dad. We break down the classic ADHD DIY cycle: the initial surge of hyper-focus dopamine, the late night YouTube research sprees, the optimistic trip to the hardware store, and the inevitable moment where the project hits 80% completion and vanishes from your working memory forever. From unfinished baseboards and half-tiled backsplashes to emergency plumbing fixes, we share our worst home improvement disasters, the shame of the "Project Graveyard," and how to finally know when it's time to put down the drill and just hire a contractor. In this episode: The Hyper-Fixation Pipeline: Why every new DIY project feels like our new life calling. The 80% Rule of Renovation: Why finishing the last 20% feels like the hardest part. The Tribal Knowledge Trick: Learning to lean on your tribe to help you figure it out Knowing Your Limits: Balancing the urge to "save money" with preserving your sanity (and marriage). Social Media is Warping Normal Human Interaction | Dad Blast
Aug 6, 202623 min
When did everyone start acting like they’re living inside a TikTok feed? On this Dad Blast, we’re calling out one of our biggest social pet peeves: people who perform unprompted in public. From random strangers belting out songs in the grocery store aisle to people forcing uncomfortable comedy bits into normal conversations, we break down why "Main Character Syndrome" makes everyone around them want to crawl out of their skin. Then, we dive into a much-needed conversation about the overwhelming relief of stepping away from social media. We discuss how being hyper-connected distorts normal human interaction, warps our expectations of everyday conversations, and how logging off brings back genuine peace. In this episode: Public Performance Gripe: Why unprompted singing and forced bits ruin the vibe. The "Main Character" Trap: How social media ruined basic situational awareness. The Social Media Exit: The massive mental relief of logging off. Restoring Real Connection: Relearning how to have normal, low-pressure conversations. NEW TO THE DAD BLAST? Are You Relaxing Wrong? The Secret to ADHD Recovery
Aug 4, 202641 minS3
When the house is in total chaos, how do you actually turn your brain off? In this episode of The Dad Voice, we’re breaking down the science and reality of how ADHD dads wind down, recharge, and recover from overstimulation. We dive into the big divide: Passive Relaxers vs. Active Relaxers. Why do some dads need to sit on the couch and do a whole lot of nothing, while others need to hit the gym, go to a bar, or jump into a high-energy hobby just to feel normal again? We talk about shedding the guilt around how you take your breaks and how to communicate your recharge needs to your partner without starting a war. In this episode: The Sensory Overload Trap: Why traditional "relaxation" (like sitting in a quiet room) can make ADHD anxiety worse. Passive Relaxers: The art of guilt-free zoning out and rotting on the couch. Active Relaxers: Why working out, socializing, or hyper-fixating is actually a form of rest for high-dopamine brains. Balancing the House: How to get the recharge time you need without leaving your partner stranded with the kids. ABOUT THE DAD VOICE PODCAST: You can't spell ADHD without DAD. Every question we get asked before someone starts their trial.
If you have a concern about deliverability, AI quality, data privacy, or whether this will actually work for your specific situation, it's probably answered below.
What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
What if I have more than 50 profiles or 20 clients?
That is our Enterprise tier. Contact our sales team and we will build a custom plan with volume pricing, a dedicated account manager, and SLA guarantees.
